Approval of Special Flight Permits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AvSafe can approve Special Flight Permits (SFP) for Australian Registered Aircraft both within or outside of Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special flight permit may be issued for an aircraft that may not currently meet applicable airworthiness requirements, but is capable of safe flight, for the following purposes: Flying aircraft to a point for repairs, alterations, maintenance, or storage (for example, ferrying an aircraft from point A to point B).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any person may apply for issue of an SFP. The registered operator is usually the
applicant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An application for an SFP can be made to AvSafe we have an Instrument of Appointment holder authorised by CASA to process and issue the SFP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
